LESSON 1 Genesis & Job, Lesson One, Intro

The main focus of this first lesson is to set the foundation of the Book of Genesis and the Book of Job, particularly their significance in understanding key questions about life that are essential if we are going to have a correct understanding of the Christian life. We also look at the authorship of both books, attributing them to Moses and giving extensive evidence for why this is true and why it's important to date Job as one of the earliest of Biblical books. Finally, this lesson introduces crucial questions about existence, suffering, and divine authority, establishing a framework for deeper discussions in the following lessons.
